Dr. Brandon Pham is a Stanford-trained ophthalmologist who completed his residency at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, the #1 eye hospital in the United States.

Dr. Pham is highly experienced in a wide range of ophthalmic procedures, including premium cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT), laser peripheral iridotomy (LPI), YAG laser capsulotomy, and other in-office treatments for dry eye, glaucoma, and retinal conditions.

A recipient of several nationally competitive research scholarships, Dr. Pham has authored over 25 peer-reviewed publications in leading ophthalmology journals, including American Journal of Ophthalmology. He was recognized as a Top 10% Most Cited Clinician by Doximity in 2022 and 2024.

  • A typical comprehensive eye exam takes about 30 minutes. If you are being evaluated for surgery or a specific condition, it may take longer.

  • In most comprehensive eye exams, yes. Dilation is needed to adequately access the health of your retina and optic nerve. Your vision may be blurry for a few hours afterward.
